SureGuide® Impact Bed (SGIB)
The SureGuide® Impact Bed (SGIB) is designed to offer a low friction loading point that handles the impact of the mined ore at transfer points along the conveyor system. Using high quality polyurethane pads, the SGIB absorbs the impact at the loading point, protecting the belt from damage. Raised impact rollers on the front and rear of the impact bed elevate the belt off the liners while no load is being transferred, thus reducing unnecessary wear to the liner and belt. This means that the conveyor belt and liner only make contact when the load forces the belt downward. When the conveyor belt is not carrying any material, the liner and conveyor belt will not make any contact.
